The walls do not suffer the progressive deterioration due to the erosion of meteoric water and the infiltration of humidity, but on the contrary they are able to maintain their integrity and compactness for a long time, without crumbling or cracking. The walls treated with Paulin siloxane coatings easily eliminate the water vapor that can appear between the masonry and the plaster, remaining dry in depth and improving the insulation capacity of the entire building.

Paulin's siloxane products combine two important and apparently irreconcilable physical characteristics: water repellency and breathability. The particular chemical composition of these coatings contains resins that create a very stable and porous molecular network, rich in capillaries and hydrophobic pores that allow the passage of water vapor from the inside to the outside while at the same time avoid the penetration of water into the masonry. By adhering physically to the support, they are more resistant to atmospheric and chemical agents, while allowing the support to breathe.
The facades treated with the products of the Paulin siloxane line remain clean and intact for a long time. The water repellent property of the coating prevents the deposition of the dust particles on the surface of the finish: in this way the dirt and the smog can flow away with water, prolonging the brilliant effect of the original color, thanks also to the chemical stability of the siloxane bond that protects it from UV rays.
